Chief Growth Officer

Mr. Johnson is the Chief Growth Officer (CGO) at Softek International. At Softek, Mr. Johnson focuses on developing and implementing a comprehensive growth strategy aimed at Federal and commercial customers, as well as enhancing company capabilities that drive competitive advantages and growth. He continuously identifies and pursues new business opportunities, including qualifying deals through stage gates and implementing strategies that lead to submitting proposals with a high win rate probability.

Mr. Johnson has held key positions throughout his career, including Vice President of Business Development at Digital Management Incorporated and Principal Enterprise Lead at Lockheed Martin, ISGS, and Booz Allen Hamilton, where he oversaw the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps, and Army markets. He has cultivated relationships with numerous industry partners to streamline the teaming process. Moreover, Mr. Johnson has held various business development and technical roles at Data Solutions and Technology, LEIDOS, AT&T, and TelCove CRGT.

As a strong supporter of AFCEA, Mr. Johnson has provided over twenty years of exceptional leadership and service to the AFCEA community. He currently serves as the Regional Vice President for the AFCEA National Capital Region and as a delegate to the AFCEA International Board of Directors. Additionally, he chairs the AFCEA Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Access Committee. In 2023, he was honored with the GEN—James M. Rockwell AFCEAN of the Year award for exemplary service over the past year.

Mr. Johnson has over 21 years of military service as an Army Officer in the Signal Corps. He has held various positions, including Satellite Operations Officer for the Joint Chiefs of Staff, where he managed the allocation of operational satellite communications capacity for all Department of Defense and Government Agencies. He was also a Presidential Communications Officer at the White House Communications Agency, responsible for the fixed and deployable state-of-the-art telecommunications support to the White House.

Mr. Johnson holds a Master of Arts in International Relations & Strategic Studies from the Naval War College, Newport, RI, and a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Production from Howard University, Washington, DC
